The food of Tuscany, Umbria & Le Marche is simple but often hearty. Packed with flavour, it is based on paesant cooking that elies heavly on olive oil, tomatoes, beans ,hams and salamis..Meanwhile the traditional dishes in Emilia- Romagna tends to be more elaborated using creams, meet and the excellent Parmesan cheese ..the traditonal "cucina Romanesca" has always relied on fresh seasonal produce from the countryside such as the artichokes , the famous Puntarelle(curly endive shoots) and the meet dished based on the so called "Quinto quarto" (fifth quarter) flavourev with olive oil & herbs...


Cooking courses in the Valtiberina Valley

Sansepolcro , the main town of the Valtiberina Valley , with the river Tiber and the mountains close by , gives its visitors a special feeling of peace and tranquility . On reaching Valterbina many people immediately think of its famous citizen : PIERO DELLA FRANCESCA , the great painter known all over the world . Some of his major works can be admired at the Municipal Museum , in many of the churches and also in the Romanesque Cathedral . The traditions of the town lie in the making of precious laces , jewels and pottery , while antique furniture can be found nearby in ANGHIARI - an ancient town overlooking the Tiber Valley which preserves its pure medieval character . We have chosed this particular region to promote our "Cookery Courses" for its Mediterraneo Cuisine , today so widely recognized . Under the supervision of our Chefs you will learn not only how to cook a Spaghetti dish , but also how to prepare a sample first course such as : Taglietelle , Ravioli , Capelletti and Cannelloni, naturally all made with your own hands (using eggs & flour ) . Making refined Cannelloni in a short time will not be a problem for you : our chef is ready to show you his precious culinary skills and secrets and to teach you the most exciting Italian and International recipes including Pasta sauces such as : Bolognese , Tomato , Amatriciana etc . These recipes are just waiting to be transformed into a lunch or dinner . Finally , in the regions of the great gastronomic traditions , you cannot miss out on the "Vino" , fruit of the generous land , which you can taste whilst our "Sommelier" will guide you on your first steps of how to accompany the various menus with a good wine . Then , relax .....and Buon Appetito !!! The magic moment has come to sit around the table with other guests .
