| The large Karst plateau stretches over the area around Trieste: it is characterized by an extremely bare nature, which is just as attractive due to its variety of landscapes and colours.
In this area there is an actual wine and food culture, allowing you to taste a mixture of Italian, Slovenian, Austrian and Hungarian flavors. During this trip you can taste the local products of a famous Karst farm and appreciate the variety of colours and aromas.
You will visit the beautiful Grotta Gigante - the largest tourist cave in the world, to admire the incredible nature inside it.
After lunch you will have the opportunuty to visit a laboratory of a local sculptor who carves the Karst stone with a very personal style, creating genuine works of art. This tour will end with a visit of a famous wine cellar where you will visit the cellars and have a wine and oil tasting session .

| A full day tour of Trieste to relive the atmosphere of the great Austro-Hungarian Empire, through the elegant palaces, the historic Viennese-style cafes, and the Mitteleuropean taste of the town.
Your first stop will be San Giusto Hill, from where you have a beautiful view of the city. You will then visit the old town centre of Trieste, including Piazza Unità d'Italia, the heart of Trieste facing directly onto the sea, Piazza della Borsa, with the massive building of the "Borsa vecchia", the old stock-exchange, and the Borgo Teresiano which flourished especially under Empress Maria Theresa, with its elegant palaces.
After lunch visit the beautiful Miramare Castle, the charming residence of the archduke Maximilian of Habsburg. You will visit the halls of the Castle, which preserve the original nineteen-century furnishings and then will have a pleasant stroll in the surrounding botanic garden.

| A full day tour of Trieste will drive you among the city highlights and to the fascinating Duino Castel.
Your first stop will be San Giusto Hill, from where you have a beautiful view of the city. Here part of the old Roman walls, built to defend the city, can be found. Then you will walk down the old stairs and pass behind the ancient Arco di Riccardo, the picturesque Church of San Silvestro and the Roman Theatre. The visit will continue in the Borgo Theresiano where you can admire the elegant neoclassical buildings. The morning tour will finish in the amazing Piazza Unità d’Italia, the biggest square in Europe facing directly onto the sea.
Reach then the Karst area for a traditional lunch . After lunch you will visit the romantic Duino Castle, the current residence of the princes of Thurn und Taxis, entrenched on a crag on a sheer drop to the sea. You will visit the halls of the Castle and the Bunker which was used by the German troops after 1943. After the visit to the Castle panoramic walk along the fascinating Sentiero Rilke, from where you have an amazing view on Trieste Gulf.
